It may have taken me most of the summer to read, but i FINALLY finished SHANTARAM… what an amazing piece of literature.  I highly recommend everyone should read it.  Thanks to those who suggested it to me!
after 933 pages of vivid narratives, I need to lighten up the mood.  Starting Tina Fey’s Bossy Pants this weekend, then off to a new series.  I’m thinking Hunger Games or The Alchemist.  Any other suggestions?

Because reading is FUNdamental, I’ve decided to read the following books in the next couple of weeks :)  Thanks for all the suggestions, people!!
1.  Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen… because I wanna have a girls night and see the movie when it comes out, but if a movie is based on a book, I HAVE to read the book first.
2.  Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts… been meaning to read this for over a year now.  The almost 1000 pages scared me at first, but I’ve heard only amazing things!
3.  Bossypants by Tina Fey … I’ve been in a real female comedian memoir kinda mood this year after reading Kathy Griffin and Sarah Silverman’s books.  I want to read Margaret Cho’s book soon too!
