ENERGY.gov (US Department of Energy) got a temporary facelift… oh yea.  and I redesigned it (just the homepage and header/footer though!).  Click here for the before and after.  Full ENERGY.gov redesign coming late this spring/early summer I think.
Anyway, how meta is it that Secretary Steven Chu is looking at himself on his department website.  Too funny.  We love the Chu!
oh, and side note. Secretary Chu and I go way back.  He was the commencement speaker at my BU Graduation in ‘07 before he became Secretary of the Dept. of Energy.  BU told us it was someone who has worked with the environment and global warming and we all thought it was going to be Al Gore.  Oh well!  At least Chu is really making moves with the Energy Department.
Rock on, Chu.  Rock on.

A recent NYC transplant from Paris copes with culture shock by creating a lovely blog of simple graphics showing how the cities compare and contrast. Pitted against each other are Le Pain, La Peste, Le Tip and more in this friendly feud.  (via coolhunting.com)
